Greetings, Inspired Seekers!

Spring has finally arrived in the North East and gazing at the flowers, trees and the very green grass, I often feel as if I am witnessing a deep and vital spiritual experience - the resurrection of the natural world. And, in these moments, it appears as if what has been dormant and sleeping is slowly rubbing its eyes, stretching and waking up. So, when was the last time you had a deep and vital spiritual experience? Yes, one where, at its conclusion, you were more awake and, as a result, beginning to heal and come back to life?

Oftentimes, these experiences that are so necessary to our spiritual development remain hidden as we rush through our busy days. But when we rush, when we forget to give our souls the gift of contemplation or meditation, we miss the sacred experience that is ours for the taking.

In those moments, honest, deep and spiritual communion takes place. The veil is lifted and we experience a Presence that washes over us in body, mind and spirit and we are changed. Our thinking changes, our being changes and we are able to be within a deeper space of love. And, in that space, we can disengage from behaviors that do not serve; behaviors such as anger, resentment and, well, even crankiness. In that space all of our negativity that holds us back is absorbed into the ether of Spirit. What a gift!

Connected to the Whole, our being firmly anchored and grounded in this space, clarity rises like a cloud of whimsy on a spring day and we come to understand and know, in our bones, that we are connected to Something Larger than the Self. And that, my friends, is love springing from the earth and finding its new space, within us! Let’s wake up! Happy Spring!
