Greetings, Inspired Seeker!

Summer is a time of abundance that is reflected wherever we look — in Farmers’ Markets and gardens, in time spent with family and friends, and in the eyes of children who have an abundance of time for play. But, abundance is present always, if we pay attention. If we can free ourselves from limits and fear, if we can lift the doubts and anxiety that weigh us down and, perhaps, most importantly, if we trust in Spirit.

Can we trust that there is enough? Can we trust that we are enough? Can we focus on experiencing love, plenty and serenity? Can we acknowledge that what is necessary for a good and whole life is already within us, waiting for us to call it forth? Not easy, I know.

I believe that abundance is the contentment we experience when we recognize and are grateful for our lives and all that is in them. It is the peace we feel trusting in the expectations of what is yet to come. Abundance is a choice we make when we say “yes” to opportunities that are freely given to us. It is the joy that flows from knowing we are using our gifts and leading a meaningful life that includes serving the world. Abundance is not simply about money. That is a limit, based upon external judgments rather than internal energy made manifest through our actions. Money does not make us feel full. Abundance does.

The Book of John quotes: The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

Lao Tzu wrote: He who knows that enough is enough will always have enough.

We have it within us to thrive in abundance, to trust the Divine in our lives and to live the full life that is ours! Claim it! Celebrate it — with abundance!
