GraceNotes: Holding the Space for … Reflection

#115 — November 1, 2021

Gratitude bestows reverence, allowing us to encounter everyday epiphanies, those transcendent moments of awe that change forever how we experience life and the world.

Greetings, Inspired Seekers!

Happy HolyDaze Season!

With the passing of Samhain – Halloween – comes the arrival of All Saints' Day, All Souls' Day and the week of Diwali celebrations. We are fully immersed in the daze of holydays and holidays. Thanksgiving, Solstice, Yule and Christmas end the year as we usher in the newness of 2022. And with our hearts captured by these celebrations, we are ever reminded of the lessons and blessings of 2021.

In spite of our challenges and the sorrows of the relentless virus' hold on the world, we are hopeful and have much to be thankful for, much to look forward to. Our hope and gratitude is not simply found in the holy books that many of us have had the time to digest. Instead, our faith in a more loving future is rooted in our experiences of humanity and Divinity intertwining during these days of ever-present shadows.

Our bandwidth has been expanded to an infinite array of channels and opportunities to connect with the Sacred. There are limitless intersections – if we are present and open, if we pause and if we focus on the holy rather than the daze. This I wish for you!

Thank you for being a part of TheSpaceForGrace community and for all you do in the name of unity, grace and peace. May your tables and your hearts overflow with all three!

Grace, Always Yours,
Reverend Deborah
